Merchant agreement
Hosted checkout submits one shopper’s card payment for one store’s order. Accepting this agreement starts an application. It does not turn live charges on.
Updated October 18, 2026.
What this covers
UGOpayme submits the shopper’s card payment for that store’s order. The processor must be the one that settles it. The merchant is not using a UGOpayme account that only covers UGOpayme’s own goods.
This is the product agreement for hosted checkout. It does not replace a lawyer’s review or the processor’s own merchant contract.
Live charges
Live charges stay off until UGOpayme has the legal business, an owner, and the catalog, and has approved the application.
A sandbox connection can be used to connect a store. Sandbox does not take live cards.
What may be sold
The merchant sells only what the processor and the card brands allow. A discount does not change what the product is.
The merchant is responsible for the catalog and the offer text. UGOpayme may refuse a catalog.
What the shopper sees
The shopper is shown the merchant, the order, the total after any discount, and the statement descriptor before the card is captured. The captured amount is that total.
Card numbers stay on the processor’s hosted fields.
Settlement
Settlement pays that order to that merchant. Shopper credit, a reloadable balance, and person-to-person send are not part of this agreement.
Fees, refunds, and closing
Fees, refunds, reserves, and account closure follow this agreement. UGOpayme may refuse or close a merchant.
